COMBSCAPE is a VST effect plug-in based on a comb filter that works on five frequencies in a very special way to create otherwordly soundscapes. Every single frequency can be adjusted in pitch, resonance and filtered with a Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass or Band Reject filter. It can be also positioned and moved in the stereo panorama, thanks to an interactive display that also controls the output level. COMBSCAPE features five adjustable delays of 10 seconds with feedback. Each delay output can be positioned and moved in the stereo panorama, and adjusted in level.

Frequencies, resonances and filters can be rescaled as a group by using the "group faders". For example, it is possible to transpose all the five frequencies with a single touch. All controls can be automated, giving you the power to create living soundscapes never heard before.

Attackease VST effect

Attackease is a VST effect for Windows.

It gets a stereo input (i.e. drum mic tracks) and separates the incoming audio in two tracks, attack and sustain, with selectable threshold and time constants.

Attack and sustain can be processed separately and then re-combined.

A limiter for the attack and a compressor for the sustain are included.

Really different from a compressor, any external processor can be used to further process attack and sustain.

Attackease is a drum replacer, too.

Select midi channel and note number, a midi note is sent on each attack (sample accurate and with velocity information).

Process the sidechain with internal filter or with external processing for better detection.

"Brackets" mode replaces the EQ with a set of parallel filters (with optional allpass mode), for detailed multiband equalization and parallel dynamic control

Retoone VST effect

A simple, midi-controlled effect for pitch-shifting, doubling, choir, chorus.

Two modules:

* Pitch-shifting and three voices choir
* Stereo chorus

Pitch-shifting: up to three indipendent voices are generated from the input. Each voice is shifted up to 1 octave up or down, with formant control. Frequencies can be controlled by midi notes. Pan control for each voice is available, with mid-side ratio control and "humanizing" parameters.

Chorus: the additional voices can work in "chorus" mode (modulated periodic pitch shift) and can be placed on the stereo field with mid-side ratio control.

- the last buffer sent before a side chain was released was repeated in the receiving instace till a new transmitter took over the same side chain
- disabled sliders were not repainted correctly in the previous version when the editor was closed and reopened

- MuSiCX accepts midi program change messages
- new presets
- 8 sound programs instead of 4

Problems solved:
- sometimes the side chain signal received a wrong buffer when the host was writing to wave file
- the vu meters froze when the program was shut off or a band’s input was disabled
- the pre filtering of the “self” signal didn’t work in v 1.01

SPECTRAL AUTOPAN

SPECTRAL AUTOPAN: Assigns different pan positions to the
different component pitches in the input signal.
The effect pitch has on pan position is controlled by
control points, which can change in pan position and
pitch according to LFOs. This adds stereo depth and
motion to sounds.

CONVOLUTER

CONVOLUTER: Applies a convolution matrix to the spectral
representation of the input signal. This bends the sound
along the continuum between pure sine tones and pure
noise.

CORKSCREW

CORKSCREW: Mixes together multiple pitch-shifts of the
input signal, increasing or decreasing their pitches in
parallel, and fading them in/out at the extremes of
their range. This creates the illusion of a sound that
seems to continually rise or fall, but doesn’t actually
change in average pitch.

HARMONIC ADDER

HARMONIC ADDER: Creates harmonic resonances by pitch
shifting the dominant frequencies in your input signal
by the various intervals in the harmonic series (octave,
octave+fifth, two octaves, two octaves+major third etc).
These harmonics can be mixed with the dry input signal
to make it more resonant, or used on their own as a new
sound.

LENGTH SEPARATOR

LENGTH SEPARATOR: Bisects the input signal according to
the lengths of its component frequencies. Short sounds
become the ‘transient’ part, long sounds become the
’stable’ part. These parts can be isolated (ie the
other part removed), or assigned different pan
positions to create stereo movement.
